reviews(Post Review)
Matthias:

My 5th concert so far (if I include the 1989 ABWH-show in Würzburg) and as far as my memory permits comparing this one to the rest that I've been to, I must say it does stand lonely at the top. Before the show actually started I was sceptic as to how the low attendance would have negative impact on the band's motivation to go full force over a time stretch of 2 hours +. Once the houselights were put dim and the first melodies were sent into the Olympiahalle my worries were all washed away and I couldn't believe how good they sounded, how the band seemed to be in better harmony than last year. My personal favourite was the accoustic set which proved that perfection and heart combined are, what makes this group one of the best in the business. It doesn't get much better than this

Oliver:

first of all: the band again was phantastic! there's still so much fun playing in them, there's still so much motivation, it is still simply magic! but i don't want to talk much about musical issues, there no discussion about it and all has been said in other reviews. i want to stress the fact that the environment for this concert was wrong and i think the management should be much more carefull here. the olympiahalle was definitly the wrong place for this, it was half empty, the concert started when it was still sunny outside (and inside), there were all chairs in the arena... these wonderful guys (and we, the audience) have not deserved such an environment for a concert like this, it gives a bad taste from the beginning, everybody was lost in there. when it started like this, i didn't exspect that it would be possible to turn the mood into a real magical party, but yes did, again! wonderful solo duelling between rick and steve, and a ritual to never forget, 15 additional snare drummers on stage. i've seen a lot of yes shows in the last 25 years, this band will never become old, will always be creative, will always surprise me. love is everything!
