Thorathon:

Sorry for my terrible mistake!

I still remember the concert like yesterday, with warm feelings. Hopefully i will soon have honor see Yes again.

Geoff Dunn:

"Starshit Trooper"?

Hey, I'm sure it was a fantastic version of Starship!!!

Thorathon:

If I make simple I would say: Good show!

First we had nice start with Going For The One. Then when I've Seen All Good People, crowd got really started. We enjoyed it for about 1.5 hours and then 15mins break and then again about 1.5 hours wonderful music.

The enclosure (Starshit Trooper and Ritual) was great and ended around 11.30 pm.

There were few sound problems at the beginning, but that was the only bad thing on the above:

""Yes couldn't draw more than 3000-4000 people (rough estimate) to our old Icehall which I think was a disgrace. Those guys were pros, they gave hell of a show to all people who came.

Metallica played in Helsinki Olympic Stadium to 40.000 people just last week. Nothing against Metallica really, but when it comes to talent department Yes is from totally different planet.""

I must totally agree with him!

K M Tanner:

I've always been sorta "casual fan" or Yes but what I saw yesterday in Helsinki Ice Hall was mindblowing. These guys have my total respect, they put up hell of a show. They're superb musicians, it was one of the best rock concerts I've ever seen.

They played two sets. First set had Firebird Suite, Sweet Dreams, Mind Drive, etc. Then there was 15 minutes break and they continued with stuff like "Roundabout", "And you and I", "Owner of the lonely heart" etc.

And yes, they played "Starship troopers" which was the climax for me, probably their best song?

Yes couldn't draw more than 3000-4000 people (rough estimate) to our old Icehall which I think was a disgrace. Those guys were pros, they gave hell of a show to all people who came.

Metallica played in Helsinki Olympic Stadium to 40.000 people just last week. Nothing against Metallica really, but when it comes to talent department Yes is from totally different planet.

Good luck to their European tour. If they're playing in your area DON'T MISS THIS BAND.
